Who We Are
Berner Pest Solutions was founded with a simple philosophy: small and local is better. After years of working for a local pest control company that was acquired by a large private-equity-backed corporation, our owner Trent saw firsthand how quality and customer service often take a back seat to shareholder profits in those types of organizations. That experience inspired him to create Berner Pest Solutions, an independent business where every customer interaction is guided by integrity, care, and expertise.
We're not interested in being the biggest or fastest-growing pest control company. We're focused on sustainable growth that lets us maintain the high-quality service our customers and employees deserve. Pest control is about more than eliminating pests: it's about creating safe, comfortable, healthy homes while protecting the people and pets you care about most.

Our mascot is a Bernese Mountain Dog for a reason. For rodents, we focus on entry points and exclusion instead of rodenticides. Inside your home, we use precise treatments in cracks, crevices, and plumbing voids, not broad liquid sprays.

Trent Mobley
Owner & Founder · ACE
Trent founded Berner Pest Solutions in 2023 after more than a decade in the industry, determined to build a company that puts quality over quantity and people over profit. One of the few Associate Certified Entomologists in Kentucky, he treats every pest problem like the science project it is. Off the clock, you'll find him outdoors with his family, usually with Frank close behind.
Jordon Tamminga
Service Manager
A Nicholasville native, Jordon joined in May 2025 and brought prior pest control experience with him from day one, which made him a natural fit to manage service for the whole operation. At home he has a Shih Tzu named Meeko and, allegedly, a cat. Ask him about smoking meat, but plan for your appointment to run a few minutes long if you do.
Bianca Brown (“Bee”)
Customer Service Coordinator
A Lexington native, Bee joined the team in February 2026 with years of customer service experience and now keeps busy-season chaos running on schedule. She's the voice you'll hear when you call, and yes, she really does smile through the phone. Her Olde English Bulldogge, Blue, always knows when Frank has been at the office, and Blue has opinions about it.
Jonah Marshall
Pest Control Specialist
Berner's first employee, Jonah joined in March 2025 and leads our commercial work, where his food-service background gives him a real edge in busy kitchens. He's become our go-to for complex roach, bed bug, and rodent problems. Even Frank keeps a respectful distance, though we suspect that has more to do with Jonah's cats. Jonah is a Richmond, KY native.
Treyson Call (“Trey”)
Pest Control Specialist
Trey joined in February 2026, in the middle of an ice storm no less, and hit the ground running. A hands-on problem solver, he handles both pest control and our rodent-proofing and exclusion work, sealing homes up for long-term peace of mind. Originally from Idaho, Trey fit right in like he'd been here all along.
Frank Mobley
Chief Barketing Officer
The Bernese Mountain Dog behind the name, the logo, and most of our brand strategy. Frank's role is honorary, but his charm has won over customers across Central Kentucky, and his face on the trucks gets more waves than the rest of us combined. Motivated by treats. Unavailable for meetings when Jonah's cats are discussed.

What qualifications does your team have?
Our owner Trent Mobley holds the Associate Certified Entomologist (ACE) credential, awarded by the Entomological Society of America, and is personally licensed as a Certified Operator in both Kentucky and Florida. Every Berner Pest Solutions technician is a Certified Applicator as required by the Kentucky Department of Agriculture. The person treating your home is trained, licensed, and backed by one of the few ACE-credentialed owners in Kentucky.
